Should You Give Your Kids a Kindle?

[caption id="attachment_203" align="alignleft" width="375"]Should kids have Kindles? Should kids have Kindles?[/caption]

So, for those of you with kids, grandkids, and other munchkins to buy for, I'm interested on hearing your thoughts about Kindles and kids. With all the hype of the new Kindle Fire, kids around the globe are adding the new Kindle Fire to their Christmas wish lists. Do you think Kindles are appropriate for kids?

I would love to hear your thoughts on the whether or not kids should have Kindles. Are they appropriate for all kids or just certain ages, too advanced for kids, great learning tools, dangerous since they can access the Internet? What do you think about kids with Kindles?

Share your ideas, as I am sure those looking for the best Kindle for their kids would appreciate others feedback and suggestions.

  1. No I don't think kids should have their own kindle. I don't want my kids sitting inside all day playing video games. I want them to go outside and play with the other kids in the neighborhood. When I was a kid all the kids would get together and play jailbreak or baseball, it was hard to keep us inside. I bought my son a Kool Rider bicycle noise maker to make his bike sound like a motorcycle. He loves to go out and ride his bike. I am really good for outdoor gifts.

I love feedback! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think about this post. {All comments are moderated.}
