Review: Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Poppity Pop Musical Dino

Review: Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Poppity Pop Musical Dino
My daughter received the Fisher-Price Baby Go Poppity Pop Musical Dino for her first birthday. After seeing it on the shelf at the local retailer, I knew that she would love it and had to get it! During that time she was in the cutesy-stage of walking and trying to run, so I figured she would enjoy chasing after the balls, and needless to say, she did!

The Fisher-Price Baby Go Poppity Pop Musical Dino was one of her all-time-favorite toddler toys and I highly recommend it for anyone who has small small children under two years old.

How to Freeze Onions

How to Freeze Onions
Whether you grow your own onions or  buy them in bulk, freezing onions is a great way to preserve them and shorten your meal prep time.

Not to mention, how many times have you used part of an onion, sealed the the rest up and put it in the fridge, just to have to throw it away a few days later? I think we have all done that... several times.

Frozen onions are perfect for soups, casseroles, stir-fry and any other recipes that will consist of cooking the onions.

REVIEW: Rival 6 Cup Rice Cooker

Rival 6-Cup Rice Cooker ReviewThanks to my Dear Husband, I received a Rival 6-Cup Rice Cooker for Christmas 2013. It was one of the few things on my Christmas wish list and he made sure I got one!

I mainly wanted one because my husband loves rice {and I wanted to be like all the other fancy families in America and have a rice cooker}. Dear Hubby loves rice with just about anything, especially when I cook anything with BBQ. {He loves BBQ sauce in his rice.}
I had always heard about how simple it was to cook perfect rice with a rice cooker and I was super excited to try it for myself.

The night after Christmas, I opened up my new rice cooker and set out to see just what it was all about, and if it really did make perfect rice....

#Crafts: 55+ Handmade Gift Ideas for Any Occasion

  Handmade gifts are a great way to show someone you care. Anyone can go to their favorite retailer and buy an expensive gift, but it takes a special person to make a handmade  gift that comes from the heart; and someone who is dedicated to setting aside their own personal time to create special gift for their special friend or family member.

Below you will find several homemade gift ideas for nearly any occasion, including Christmas, birthdays, baby showers, and other gift-giving occasions. While everyone else is out fighting the crowds in the cold doing their holiday shopping, you can be at home, nice and warm, crafting your own gifts.
